Kraft Bierfest Brewers Spotlight: Clown Shoes Beer

If  you’re looking for a beer that’s not stuck up and knows how to have fun, then you’re going to love Clown Shoes Beer out of Ipswich, Massachusetts.  Gregg Berman founder of Clown Shoes described his company saying, “Clowns are questionable but the shoes make me laugh.  They remind me about humility and to find humor in life.  Our mission now is to produce beer without pretension while being free and a little crazy.”  We are excited to have four limited edition Clown Shoes brews at our Kraft Bierfest!

Burnt Caramel (American Brown Ale)

Clown Shoes used 500 lbs of burnt caramel from Toscanini’s Ice Cream in Cambridge, MA when brewing this beer. It has a 7.0% ABV

Crunkle Sam (American Barleywine Ale)

This 11% ABV ale was brewed with patriotism.

Chocolate Sombrero (Mexican style Chocolate Stout)

With 9% ABV the recipe for this delicious beverage includes: dark malts, extra chocolate malts, ancho chile, cinnamon, and vanilla extract. Sombrero not included.

Space Cake (Double IPA)

This 9.0% ABV beer is a citrus filled IPA brewed using mosaic hops and laced with malts for balance.
